Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 5x8 Hours (8:00–17:00) | Onsite | No Weekends | No Call Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services across outpatient, acute care, and long-term care / swing bed settings within a critical access hospital
• Float between care settings as needed to meet facility demands, within the scope of practice
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Participate in holiday coverage, committing to 3 of 5 designated holidays as required
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Occupational Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission; compact license accepted if valid)
• Current NBCOT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Candidate's permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted at standard terms)
• Must provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a critical access hospital or rural healthcare setting
• Familiarity with outpatient, acute care, and long-term care / swing bed environments
• Experience with Epic electronic health records
