Drilling / Exploration Technician (Entry Level) Location: Omaha, NE + Regional Travel Terracon is offering a hands‑on, entry‑level drilling and exploration technician role for candidates seeking long‑term, year‑round work with opportunities for advancement. What You’ll Do Work year‑round in the field, not seasonal. Learn drilling and exploration fundamentals, including equipment operation and maintenance (augers, bits, tooling), soil and rock testing methods, installation of groundwater monitoring wells, and basics of reading civil and geotechnical plans. Assist the Lead Operator with daily field operations. Drive medium‑duty trucks to job sites across the region. Travel regionally and occasionally nationwide with per diem provided.
